Terms & Conditions

1. About the Platform

| YB Pro is a point-of-sale and e-commerce management platform that enables businesses in Rwanda to manage their products, orders, inventory, staff, and payments in one place. The platform is provided as a software service and is intended for legitimate commercial use only.

2. User Accounts

• You must provide accurate, complete, and current information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
• Accounts are non-transferable. You may not share your account credentials with others.
• Each user is assigned a role (Shop Admin, Cashier, Stock Manager, etc.) with specific permissions. You agree to operate only within your assigned role.

3. Permitted Use

You agree to use ISHOP only for lawful purposes. You must not:

• Use the platform to conduct fraudulent transactions or money laundering.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or compromise the security of the platform.
• Use fake, stolen, or borrowed identity information.
• Abuse the MTN MoMo payment integration with fictitious orders.
• Violate any applicable Rwandan laws, including the ICT Law and Data Protection Act.

4. Payments & Billing

• Payments processed via MTN MoMo are subject to MTN Rwanda's terms and transaction fees.
• Cash payments recorded on the platform are the sole responsibility of the shop and its cashiers.
• ISHOP is not a licensed financial institution and does not hold or manage customer funds.
• Transaction records are maintained for audit and reporting purposes as required by Rwandan law.
• In the event of a payment dispute, users should contact MTN Rwanda directly for MoMo-related issues.

5. Shop Owner Responsibilities

As a registered shop owner on ISHOP, you are responsible for:

• Ensuring all products listed on the platform are legal and accurately described.
• Managing your staff access, roles, and permissions responsibly.
• Maintaining accurate inventory, pricing, and financial records.
• Obtaining any required business licenses and permits under Rwandan law (RDB registration, Tax ID, etc.).
• Ensuring that your use of MTN MoMo complies with BNR (National Bank of Rwanda) regulations.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, and trademarks within the ISHOP platform are the property of ISHOP and are protected under applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute any part of the platform without prior written permission.

Your shop data (products, orders, customer records) remains your property. By using the platform, you grant ISHOP a limited license to process and store this data solely for the purpose of delivering platform services.

7. Limitation of Liability

ISHOP is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• ISHOP is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from platform use.
• We are not liable for financial losses resulting from failed MTN MoMo transactions or network outages.
• We are not responsible for actions taken by staff users on the platform.
• Our total liability in any case shall not exceed the amount paid (if any) for the use of the platform in the preceding 3 months.

8. Suspension & Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to ISHOP at any time if:

• You violate any provision of these Terms & Conditions.
• Your account is used for fraudulent or illegal activities.
• Required by a court order or Rwandan government authority.

Upon termination, your access will be revoked. Data will be retained as required by law before being deleted.

9. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Rwanda. Any disputes arising from the use of this platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Rwanda.
